Nordthy started a meat division 1 month ago (October 1, 2024).
The first month's activities are already leading to the next step - a partnership with Norlyk ApS, which will provide great opportunities for both new and existing customers for products in the meat category, among others.
Norlyk is a nationwide supplier of fresh retail packaged meat, ready meals and sausage products to both retail and corporate customers throughout Denmark. Since the company's establishment, Norlyk has been driven by a strong passion for craftsmanship and high quality, which is reflected in their wide range. Their focus on local ingredients and traditional production methods ensures products of a high standard that customers can trust. Since 2009, Slagter Norlyk has also been a total supplier to the ABC Lavpris chain of fresh meat spreads, liver pate and sausage products.
Nordthy acquires the majority of Norlyk ApS and thereby gets its own production setup in the meat category.
Nordthy has entered into a partnership with Norlyk ApS and will take over 80% of the company on November 1st, while Ulla Holst Møller & Lars Møller will continue as general managers and 20% shareholders. The company will change its name from Norlyk ApS to Nordthy Food - Meat ApS.

The meat category is changing

Ulla Holst Møller & Lars Møller have run Norlyk based in Grindsted for over 25 years - and they continue to do so.
