With the acquisition of all activities in Nordic Nutrient Aps. and Urban Coast Aps. Nordthy A/S strengthens its position in the FMCG market. The acquisition of a new business unit Healthcare & Drinks will help ensure future growth and create new jobs in North Jutland.
Nordic Nutrient Aps and Urban Coast Aps are Danish importers of protein fortified products, collagen fortified products, vitamins, minerals and beverages. The portfolio includes well-known brands such as: LinusPro, INZYM, Colly & Co, Must Essentials, SMAG! Energy Drink and Fire Energy Drink.
The acquisition of Nordic Nutrient Aps and Urban Coast Aps. stems from a desire to expand the product portfolio into completely new areas. CEO Søren Lukassen says:
"The products in Nordic Nutrient Aps and Urban Coast Aps are very exciting and something we can see ourselves in. Together with the acquisition, we get an exciting profile in Rasmus Freivald Bentzon on board, who from day one will be able to contribute with a huge know-how about these products."
In connection with the deal, Rasmus Freivald Bentzon will in the future be Director of the Nordthy-Health business unit. There is a clear ambition for Nordthy to be a leading player in this area.
